Install Python on your computer or find a UI computer to use Python on. I will be using the version of Python found at www.python.org.

Read the paper Evaluation of a tree-based pipeline optimization tool for automating data science. Although you are encouraged to read the entire paper for now we will focus on the title, abstract and introduction.

Find a research paper (using Google Scholar) or another search tool, such as the ACM Digital library, on a topic that is of interest to you. Turn in a citation of the paper.
