Cybersecurity: An Idaho Perspective

Abstract:

The world is seeing an increase in cyber attacks. Attacks against personal computers, corporate computers, critical infrastructures and mobile devices are becoming more sophisticated. Thieves are stealing not only customerÕs personal information they are stealing valuable corporate intellectual property. In this presentation, Dr. Alves-Foss, Director of the University of IdahoÕs Center for Secure and Dependable Systems, will discuss current threats to computer systems and what we can do to protect our systems. He will also discuss cutting-edge cyber-security research initiatives at the University of Idaho.
