CS 428/528 Games and Virtual Environments Homework "CVE"

1. Visit cve.sf.net
2. Download and install CVE, either from Windows binaries or SVN sources.
3. Create an account
4. Learn the social tools. Learn to chat.
5. Befriend user "jeffery" and get into his group, "Games-and-Virtual-Environments".
6. Find Clint Jeffery's virtual office, JEB 230.
7. Select a partner, and participate in the CVE IDE (SCI) Effectiveness Study.
   • If you need a partner, see Dr. J. EO students, send me your preferred and available OS/version/#bits and I will try and match you up.
   • Partners need identical fonts (typically, the same OS/version) in order to do collaborative editing. If on campus, machines in JEB 321 (at least: machines 15 and 16 near the door) are available with CVE installed for this purpose.
