Many video games have professed to include an evolutionary aspect;
prominent examples include Spore, Evolve, and Pokemon evolution. A roughly
equal number of video games have succeeded in completely misrepresenting
evolution; prominent examples include Spore, Evolve, and Pokemon evolution.
The goal of this project is to find ways to include accurate models of
evolution as a way to make video games more fun and potentially more
educational. In this presentation I will discuss several iterations of the
project including what has worked well and what has failed dramatically.
