Description: During the Fall 2007 term, Team 49 implemented a new code turmoil data collection system that extracted change data from a CollabNet's Subversion version control system (http://www.collab.net/products/subversion/). Although the tool that the team developed collected turmoil data, its runtime performance was significantly below that seen with a previous tool that extracted turmoil data from a ClearCase version control system. One of the goals of this project is to understand the performance characteristics of the new system, then design and implement changes that will improve runtime performance. Another goal of the project is to incorporate additional features, such as the ability to generate turmoil data between two specified versions of a product.

Description: Several years ago faculty and students in the Computer Science Department designed and implemented a Reconfigurable Attack Defend Instructional Computer Lab (RADICL) to provide an environment in which to perform security-related education and research in an air-gapped environment that would not constitute a potential threat to other departmental or networked systems. This project will extend the lab capabilities by providing the following capabilities:

Description: The purpose of this project is to extend the project developed by Team 51 during the Fall 2007 term. That team built a graphical user interface that accesses a database or flat-file and present the information in a user configurable display. The layout and data sources of the interface are defined by an XML file that is loaded by the application. Editing the XML files allows the user to change the data presented and the display dependencies. For the Phase 2 project there are several additional goals including:
