          The purpose of this project is to extend the project developed by Team 51 during the Fall 2007 term.  That team built a graphical user interface that accesses a database or flat- file and presents the information in a user-configurable display.  The display is configured by loading a user-defined XML file that specifies the layout and data sources of the interface.  Editing the XML files allows the user to change the data presented and the displayed dependencies.  For the Phase 2 project there are several additional goals including:

• Achieve an abstracted data back-end that allows the application to work concurrently with multiple sources of data.
• Support query across to multiple simultaneous data sources thus achieving cross database operability.
• Support value comparisons across different representations of a data type.
• Provide response to queries in near real-time.
• Provide additional data type display capabilities.
