In the spring of 2007, team 48 wrote RadSAT (Radial Spectrum Analysis Tool) for Criterion Technology, who test electronics for electro-magnetic compliance (EMC). This project took two existing applications and combined their functionality into a single program. RadSAT manages, filters, and visualizes large sets of data on electro-magnetic interference (EMI), which it gathers from a spectrum analyzer.

We, Team 52, are building on the work of Team 48 and adding to RadSAT. We are tasked with the following: (1) modify and extend RadSAT's data processing and visualization features, (2) add support for the spectrum analyzer's quasi-peak detector, and (3) implement a system for automating equipment testing.
