Meeting minutes 10-25-07
 
Summary of progress:
 
    Frank: Trimming the CVS tree
  
    Michael: Closed defects, committed changes; the file handler is 
ready to be incorporated, having some problems with the commad line 
interface; getting Presentation for release 2 ready
 
    Ryan:  Working on splitting files to SPEs, did some documentation, 
design spec etc.
 
    Andrew: Going over documentation, having problems with Linux boxes, 
still unable to close defect
 
Junk: "Your team effort appears to be evenly divided." ;  looked at 
documentation: Test Spec. looks "OK"
    Asked; "How are you going to approach the design spec.?"
 
Ryan:  "We COULD do 3 documents"...
 
Junk: No preference all 3 in 1 or separate
 
Ryan: Document will be in 3 parts 1 for each function
 
Junk: Will look at documentation more closely in release 2
 
Junk: Asked about presenting the results for release 2
    -time comparisons
 
Ryan: "I would like to re-run the corpus."
 
Junk: asked if the corpora were adequate
 
Frank and Ryan: Explained the diversity of the corpora and the use of 
the DVD image
 
Junk: Cody will probably want to know what you did for the design,
       What was learned?
       What worked well?
       What didn't?
       What would you do different?
 
Junk: During the presentation
    -Don't spend to much time on the design
    -Focus on lessons learned and results
 
Junk: Reminded us of the schedule change in Nov. indicated flexibility
 
Michael:  That is our meeting time anyway
 
Junk:  "the flu is going around"; warned us about the end of the 
semester getting crazy;  reviewed end of semester plans.  Asked if we 
have enjoyed the project
 
Team: "Yes"
 
Ryan:  Admired IBM's thoroughness :)
