CS 481 - Team 49 Meeting Minutes Weekly Team Meeting Wednesday, November 14, 2007 10:30 - 11:30 AM JEB 324 Recorder: Peter Brown-Hayes -------------------------------- Summary: This meeting consisted of discussion about Bruce's testing of the CTMT, the specifications for the final release, and the requirements we need to meet for the class and the project. Attendees: Brandon Riggers, Peter Brown-Hayes, Travis Thoroman, and Bill Junk. Topics discussed: 1) Team needs to log all defects so that everyone is aware of the current problems. 2) Task list needs to be updated and kept up to date so that the team, Bill, and Bruce know what to expect and when to expect it. 3) Several requirements for the CTMT were discussed and they are listed below: a) Tool needs to work correctly first, and then focus mainly on performance. It was discussed that the CTMT's main focus is to report accurate turmoil. b) Time/performance will take second priority to an accurate and fully functional turmoil tool. 4) Tests need to be performed to analyze whether or not Subversion is causing slowing -- Discussion took place involving whether or not the 'svn cat' command was slower than checking out, whether or not Subversion is slower because of the lack of Clearcase 'labels', and how we need to test our environment versus Bruce's environment to see if the environments produce drastically different time results. 5) Internal testing needs to take place to find and fix any of the current defects, and test performance. The results need to be relayed between Bruce and the team so that we can compare the results in both environments.
