Weekly Team Meeting

Summary: In this meeting, we set the date for our 2nd release 
on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. We pretty much talked about what 
needs to be done for the release. It was a short meeting.

   Brandon Riggers, Peter Brown-Hayes, Travis Thoroman, 
   Shruti Upadhyaya, Bill Junk, Bruce Mayes (over the phone). 


Topics discussed:

We moved the release date to Wednesday (10/31) at 10:30 AM. 
Release package needs to be completed by Monday evening or 
Tuesday morning. Bruce will be able to spend some time 
looking over the release either early on Tuesday morning 
or Tuesday afternoon before the presentation. Bill mentioned 
that we need to be confident on what we post by Monday evening. 
Documents can be delayed if needed but codes and installation 
instructions need to be working properly. We need to send a short 
email Sunday evening to keep everyone updated about the status 
of the release. Task list needs to be updated. Design specification 
is on right track. We talked about the error conditions in operational 
specification. Bill talked about the pro and con in the way of 
recording the error conditions in OpSpec. If we replicate the
 error condition in each operation, then we can be sure that 
the user has full information. However, if there are any changes 
made by user in certain condition, then things can get confusing. 
The defect counts are the same as our 1st release, we need to 
take deeper look in finding defects. The challenge of this 
release is to be able have full features and be confident that the tool has been thoroughly tested.
